The HR Profiling Solutions are the official distributor of Extended DISC and FinxS products for Australia and New Zealand. We are the only authorised providers of Extended DISC Master training in Australasia. We're always approachable and love talking with our clients about how they can best utilise our products to provide the tailored solutions they need.

Meet our Team


Clyde Colson - Managing Director 

Clyde Colson

Clyde is our Managing Director and has been since the company began in 1999.
He has a life-time of experience as a partner in chartered accountancy practices, retiring from Hayes Knight to take up a full-time appointment here. Hayes Knight have used Extended DISC methodology since 1997 and were the first organisation to use the system outside Finland and the United States.

Clyde is the leading authority on Extended DISC in Australasia - attending all Extended DISC World Meetings since his appointment and many advanced training sessions in Extended DISC systems. He has presented internationally and regularly conducts accreditation training for Master Trainers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Clyde is a keen yachtsman. He has represented New Zealand in a number of ocean-racing teams and successfully competed in numerous overseas races including three Sydney-Hobart Races. He has raced regularly in New Zealand - Pacific Ocean races with success, and raced/cruised extensively.


Dayl Colson - Director

Dayl is a Director of HR Profiling Solutions and has been since it's inception (as Extended DISC Australasia) in 1999.
She is a Chartered Accountant (retiring as a partner of Hayes Knight in 2004) and is actively engaged in the financial management and reporting function of HR Profiling Solutions. She also provides consulting services to a range of clients. 

Dayl has an extensive knowledge of Extended DISC and FinxS methodology. She has attended many Extended DISC world and regional meetings. Her advice and contribution to the success of Extended DISC and now HR Profiling Solutions is profound.

Dayl is a keen gardener, having developed extensive gardens on the lifestyle block she owns with husband Clyde. Luckily she also shares his love of sailing


Kelly Fairhurst (B Ed., Dip Teaching) - General Manager 

As an experienced educator (qualified primary teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree) and senior teacher, Kelly initially joined Extended DISC Australasia (now HR Profiling Solutions Limited) in 2005 as a trainer. With her background and vast product knowledge of both Extended DISC and FinxS - including daily involvement in the interpretation of reports - her effectiveness as a trainer grew and Kelly became more vitally involved in management issues. She was appointed General Manager in 2011.

In her role as General Manager she attends all Extended DISC world meetings and several European meetings. She has become an authority in FinxS methodology and works in tandem with Courtney in customising reports for specific clients and industry sectors. 

Kelly has traveled extensively overseas (spending some of that time teaching in England) and lives in Kaukapakapa (just north of Auckland) with her husband and two children, where she enjoys the quiet rural lifestyle.


Alison Sherning - Client Relations Manager

Alison joined HR Profiling Solutions in August 2014 to manage a new product for the company, Real Time Measure. She has a strong admin, office management and customer service background and has had several sales-related roles during this time.

After taking some time off from her career to raise three children, Alison returned to the workforce in an administration role working for Dayl and Clyde at Colson White & Co (now Hayes Knight) and continued to work for the accountancy practice for the next 12 years (with four years as the HR & Admin Manager).

During this time she was a regular user of Extended DISC for new employees and saw first-hand the exceptional benefits of the Personal Analysis reports and related Extended DISC products.This made her an ideal candidate to work on promoting and selling our latest product, Real Time Measure, a simple and cost effective tool which provides instant and measured employee satisfaction and customer service feedback. 

Alison lives in Takapuna near her favourite beach and enjoys walking, being creative with food or fabric and travelling overseas to see friends and family.


Jan Young - Office Administrator

Jan has a strong background in office management and business administration. She has been instrumental in setting up effective office systems and ensuring the efficient administration of HR Profiling Solutions. 

Not only does she have an extensive knowledge of Extended DISC methodology but she supports the rest of the team through her experience in administrating the Extended DISC and FinxS systems. Jan keeps us on track! 

She is married with two adult children. As well as an interest in gardening, she's an experienced traveller and makes it to England to visit family whenever she can.


Courtney Hubbard (BC(MktgComm)) - Marketing Specialist 

Courtney is our newest team member, joining us in 2016.

She has recently graduated Massey University with a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Marketing. Courtney handles all things marketing, including social media, the website, and branding of FinxS Assessments. She is also the go to person for any FinxS Technical issues.

Courtney has a passion for travelling around New Zealand with family and friends. She is an avid user of Pinterest and enjoys making new recipes and DIY’s found from the social media platform. We enjoy having her as part of our team.

What I most enjoyed about the 2-day Accreditation Training course was learning and working on understanding the special cases, and sharing stories with the others around the table.
